In this episode of MEET YOUR ART "INSIGHT," we spoke with art critic and anatomist Hidetoshi Fuse about Basquiat. ◾︎Hidetoshi Fuse Art Critic/Anatomist Born in Gunma Prefecture in 1960. He specialized in anatomy as a doctoral student at the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts. At the age of 27, he published "Dissection Time," co-authored with anatomist Takeshi Yoro. Since then, using his knowledge of anatomy as a foundation, he has published numerous books on art and subculture, including "The Art Museum in the Brain" (Chikuma Gakugei Bunko) and "A Journey Through Cave Paintings" (Ronsousakusha). He currently teaches at his alma mater, Tokyo University of the Arts, where his unique lectures are popular with students.
