Faux Wood Door - Gel Stain - DIY - How To Make Your Door Look Like Wood

Hey everyone! Ive got another video for you and I hope it saves you all the money! I priced out garage doors and they are super expensive so I found this idea, one year later and not a single scratch or chip has happened. YOU WILL NEED: Primer (optional) Exterior Vinyl paint - I used SICO but just make sure it’s exterior grade Gel Stain - I used varathane brand but all will work Sponge Brushes Course Brush STEPS: 1 - Clean your door really well and let it dry completely before you move forward. 2 - Paint ONE layer in the vinyl paint. Don't worry if its streaky. 3 - Apply your gel stain. Theres no real way to explain HOW to do this, but just know that you have a lot of working time so you can wipe it off and re apply it a few times until you get the look you like.
