It Took 29 Days To Sleep Properly

It took 29 days sober before I finally slept for 8 hours and 7 minutes. For years I told myself I drank because I needed to switch my brain off. What I've realised is I wasn't switching it off. I was drowning it. One of the biggest excuses I used was that alcohol helped me sleep. The reality is it took nearly a month without alcohol before my sleep finally started looking normal again. The first week was brutal. Insomnia. Restlessness. Broken sleep. For nearly a month my average sleep sat around 5 hours a night. Then finally, after 29 days, I slept for 8 hours and 7 minutes. The difference was unbelievable. I woke up clearer, happier, calmer and with more energy than I've had in a long time. This isn't a how-to video. It's not a guru video. It's just real life. Real data. Real lessons. Real consequences. I don't think enough people put their chin out there anymore and talk about what actually happens when you're trying to change your life. So that's what I'm doing. Time To Unfuck Your Life. Stephen
