Solidoodle Software Walk Through

This is a walk through of downloading a model, cleaning, orienting, slicing, and printing it on a Solidoodle 2 using Tinkercad, Netfabb Cloud, Replicator G, Skeinforge and Pronterface. There is a step missing in the Replicator G section. After the reprap.xml has been modified to include Solidoodle, you need to select Solidoodle from the menu: Machine/Machine Type/Other Bots/Solidoodle 2. After doing this you might have to close and restart Replicator G to get the new platform size to show up. On my computer it seemed to remember that I had selected Solidoodle before, and brought it up automatically when the option appeared in the menu again.
