The first route passes through dense, dark, silent, and poorly lit forest. The second route crosses a mysterious bridge known for its ghost sightings and the sound of gamelan music at night. Using an old Vespa, I ventured through one of these routes and experienced the eerie atmosphere of the forest firsthand. Throughout the journey, I was accompanied only by the sounds of nature, narrow paths, and curiosity—was this place really as haunted as the stories say? Most surprising, behind the difficult and frightening access, a village still stands and is inhabited. What is life like there? And why does this village remain so isolated today?
