Chris Mullin Cooks in Playoffs vs. Suns (30 Points, 4 Threes, 11-of-16 Shooting)
May 4, 1994 - In a game best remembered for Charles Barkley's legendary scoring outburst, fellow Dream Teamer Chris Mullin did his part to keep things competitive throughout, scoring 30 points while shooting 11-of-16 from the field and 4-of-6 from deep in a 140-133 Game 3 loss to the defending Western Conference Champion Phoenix Suns. In what's considered one of the most entertaining high-tempo playoff games of the '90s, the Warriors and Suns battled to a 42-42 first quarter tie, with the Warriors shooting 18-of-25 from the field (72 percent) in the period. Alas, it was Barkley who stole the show from the opening tip on forward, scoring 27 points on 11-of-11 shooting in the first quarter alone, en route to tallying the fourth-highest scoring total in NBA playoff history, finishing with 56 points in clinching a 3-0 series sweep.
