Preparing for Winter At The Cabin: Picking Mushrooms and Cutting Firewood
With the arrival of autumn, time has now come to fill up the wood shed for winter and also start packing and preserving mushrooms in the forest and in the garden. This is the first year that I can harvest my own homegrown mushrooms, and I celebrate it by making a delicious risotto with my own shiitake mushrooms.
