Decoding the Tree of Life: Maya Lin's Sculpture at Penn Medicine's New Pavilion
Renowned artist Maya Lin partnered with Penn Medicine to create a stunning new sculpture called “Decoding the Tree of Life”. Located in the lobby of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania’s new Pavilion, this 40 foot tall sculpture is made up of a steel “tree structure” wrapped with hundreds of hand-blown glass bulbs.
