Julien Backhaus is a German media entrepreneur, publisher, and former lobbyist. At 24, he was considered the youngest magazine publisher in Germany and serves as editor of various magazines, including the well-known ERFOLG (Success) magazine. His holding company includes three other media companies. Until 2019, he also chaired a lobbying association in Berlin. He is the author of the bestsellers "ERFOLG – Was Sie von den Super-Erfolgreichen lernen können" (Success – What You Can Learn from the Super-Successful) and "EGO – Gewinner sind gute Egoisten" (Ego – Winners Are Good Egoists) (both published by FBV, Munich Publishing Group). Backhaus received the Change Award and was named Man of the Year 2019.
