#298 Vagonite Tradicional para toalhas (intermediário)

Another beautiful Traditional Vagonite stitch for us to embroider together! Who was around when we did the Diamonds pattern? This one reminded me a lot of it, so let's consider it a distant cousin? The idea is the same: longer jumps from one stitch to another, which is why it's a very different pattern in terms of embroidery and result. Vagonite is a stitch that doesn't have a wrong side, so it's easier to embroider and also easier to learn. I consider this pattern to be of medium difficulty, as it has some peculiarities that make it not so easy, but it's not difficult either. Teacher's Tips: ➡️Thicker thread gives a fuller effect to the embroidery. Thinner thread gives a more delicate and soft effect. See what you like best. ➡️Pay attention and care to the finishing touches on the hems. Besides needing to be secure, they need to be well done so as not to warp the hem. ➡️Vagonite embroidery doesn't have a wrong side, so focus all your attention on the right side, doing everything with great patience and care. ➡️The embroidery has 20 rows and occupies 28 stitches of the towel's height. I don't have the pattern for it, as I copied it from a photo. ➡️This is an extremely delicate embroidery, where anything can snag the threads and pull the embroidered row. Be very careful when washing (do not mix with other items, only with towels) and when handling it. 💙 Materials used: Brisa thread, by Pingouin, color 516 - Naval. Needle number 20, Clover brand. Face towel, Firenze III collection, Döhler brand. Watch the class and embroider with me. Pause as many times as you need, fast forward the video, go back, do it at your own pace.
