NetSci 04-1 Algebraic Centrality Introduction
Works through some motivating examples for algebraic centrality measures. Then reviews some linear algebra results that we need for these measures. Refresher on eigenvectors, eigenvalues and spectral decomposition. Corrections. 1. The adjacency matrix at 3:47 has two incorrect entries. It should have A[3,4]=0 and A[5,1]=0. 2. There is a calculation error at 10:40. The two rank 1 matrices should be [[1,1],[1,1]] and [[2,-2] [-2,2]].
