Pianist: Nikolai Nesterov is a 4nd Year Bachelor of Music student (Piano Performance) studying with Dr. Jani Parsons at the University of Calgary School for Creative and Performing Arts. Repertoire: Excerpt of Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor, Op. 15 (There was a technical glitch in the recording that didn't capture the entire performance) Performed Dec 7, 2023 live at the Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall, Rozsa Centre at the University of Calgary on a C. Bechstein concert grand piano. This performance took place in the final round of the RBC Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra Concerto Concert, and Nikolai was awarded the opportunity to perform this concerto with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra on Mar. 6, 2024.
