Our 7-day campervan trip through eastern Hokkaido is finally coming to an end! For our final destination, we chose Lake Chimikeppu, enveloped in a mystical atmosphere. Neither too big nor too small, this lake is just the right size, and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed kayaking there in the evening and early morning. In the early morning, the sparkling sun gently illuminated the lake's surface, and in the twilight, the silence was soothing and calming. Paddling across the lake, gliding along, we truly experienced the ultimate luxury of tranquility.
