Making Four Chess Boards for Christmas

In this video, I make four chess boards that my client will be giving to his four grandchildren this Christmas (2025). Each board has 1.5" squares made from curly maple and walnut for a playing field that's 12" x 12". It has a 1.5" frame with a 5/32" brass border for an overall size of 15" x 15". Each chess board is 3/4" thick. On the bottom, I engraved the birthdate of each grandchild in the yy/mm/dd format using a laser.
