Endogenous-functional (or endogenous psychoses): schizophrenia and affective disorders (depression, bipolar disorder) Endogenous-organic (dementias, including Alzheimer's disease). Exogenous-organic (post-traumatic, toxic, vascular dementias or encephalopathies). Exogenous-functional (neuroses, ASD - acute stress reaction or reactive psychoses, PTSD - post-traumatic stress disorder)
