Use Social Media to your advantage: LinkedIn is a good platform to start promoting your business, BUT nothing beats Google, so be sure to have a Google profile set up and running. 2. Reach out to previous co-workers and let them know what you are up to. They might have already moved to another company and then they can refer you to their event coordinator at their new employer. 3.And, be prepared! Many of you balloon artists are hoping to land bigger installs or dream of working with known and well-established companies but you don’t even accept credit cards as a form of payment yet 🫤 From our experience, 99.9% of businesses will pay with a corporate credit card. They will ask for an invoice and they will pay after the job is completed (depending sometimes on their next payable cycle) so don’t panic! We use Square for invoicing and to process credit card payments. If you don't have it set up yet, it is the easiest action you will take on your business. Do it today!
