In the heart of Dhaka, where outdoor play spaces are limited, BRAC Kumon Limited brought a day of magic, joy, and learning at ‘Aaj Amader Chhuti - ASHR 2025’ held at Purbachal Club. The event, designed to celebrate Kumon students, gave over 6,000 attendees a chance to break free from routine and immerse themselves in a world of immersive, fun-filled learning. The day honored 2,489 students who had excelled in their academic journey, achieving remarkable milestones of being up to 5 years ahead of their school grade levels. With special recognition for 277 students who were 5 years ahead and 20 students who completed the Kumon Program, the event celebrated not only academic success but also the holistic development of every child. Powered by Aarong Dairy and BRAC Bank, the event blended traditional cultural enrichment with innovative experiences. Students explored interactive technology zones, enjoyed a spectacular astrophotography show, and engaged in Bengali heritage activities. A delightful food festival by Foodi added to the fun. Distinguished guests, including Lady Syeda Sarwat Abed, Tamara Hasan Abed, Rizwan Dawood Shams, and leaders from top organizations like JETRO, JICA, and Grameenphone, graced the event, emphasizing the importance of self-learning and perseverance in today’s world. With memorable performances from Bajna Beat, Ekmattra, and a magical show, the celebration was filled with excitement. Parents, students, and guests left with smiles and a sense of pride.
