You can pan around, see your location, and review tracks, but navigation is still straight-line when done offline on the unit. Load a course from Explorer and you'll get off-course alerts like previous models. The touchscreen works well and makes the interface faster, but Garmin passed on routable maps. If you own a Mini 2, this is an incremental update.
