My dad whom I have considered a mentor and business partner for over a decade dropped a bombshell that shattered my world. To provide some context, my Dad (65M) is a heavy diesel mechanic and has run a small workshop his whole life. I have always been interested in his work since I was a kid and would always help him out on the weekends. I went to college to get my qualifications in Automobile Engineering so I could get a degree and officially help my dad out. Since I was 23, I have worked with my Dad as a mechanic and slowly taken over his workshop.
