Midland 3001 CB27/81 UK FM CB radio - On The Air test

Currently on Ebay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/116136993275 After servicing this 1982 Midland 3001 that I found here on the wrong shelf, it was time to test it. As usual, Mr Chippie drives along our 6-mile 'difficult terrain for radio' test route. He stopped at the 5-mile point for a static test where we would usually do a low power test. As none of the three UK precision series Midland sets have low power we obviously couldn't do a low power test! The radio worked well throughtout.
