Uwharrie National Forest Secret Camping Spot Scout Trip #fail

Uwharrie National Forest. After looking at Google Earth I spotted what I thought might be an awesome camping spot on the banks of the Uwharrie River. If I could find that spot, it would certainly be my secret camping spot. This meant I needed to do a scouting trip into the Uwharrie National Forest and find it. This was not an easy hiking trip and I figured I'd have to do a little bit of bushwhacking to get to it. What happened is what I didn't expect. It was a lot harder to get to the river than I thought. I wasn't expecting so much private land to be marked that I couldn't trespass.
