Autumn at the Memorial

“Autumn at the Memorial” follows the immediate aftermath of James’ sacrifice at Project Purity. Colonel Autumn and the Enclave seize the Jefferson Memorial, forcing the Lone Wanderer, Dr. Madison Li, and the surviving scientists to flee through the tunnels toward the Citadel. The song is grief-stricken, angry, and tense, turning the loss of James into a vow to protect the dream of clean water from becoming a weapon of control.
