A Living Mulch in an Organic Rotation (Part 1)
This video is about establishing a living mulch in rows that can be direct drilled into once the crop is taken off to sow the following cash crop. Direct drilling is difficult in an organic situation when you have to kill a ley. This solution means that you don't have to kill the ley but leave it with "blank" rows which allow you to mechanically weed as well as direct drill the next crop preserving moisture and increasing soil health.
