Yamaha Guitar Development | Artist History: Nathan East

Legendary bassist and signature artist Nathan East has been playing Yamaha basses for over 40 years. In this video, Nathan recounts his history with Yamaha, his prized Motion LB bass, and how his Yamaha basses have been integral to his sound as he has performed with some of the world’s biggest artists. "The Yamaha DNA in what I do goes very deep. I was playing 'Tears in Heaven' in the studio and I always say the song played me, and to have an instrument that would really sing and express that sentiment was very special." - Nathan East.
