Action Library for Blender — Devlog #01

Blender doesn't have a real animation library — so I built one. In this devlog, I show the progress on my Action Library, a tool that lets you save, preview, tag, search, and apply full animation clips as assets — just like Studio Library in Maya. 🔥 New additions in this update: •animation preview updates • Updated thumbnail system • Cleaner UI organization • Faster communication between Blender ↔ external app • mirror actions This is still a work in progress, but the core idea is simple: 👉 Save animation clips as assets (with preview video + metadata) 👉 Apply them to any rig without breaking your existing animation The goal: Make Blender finally competitive with Maya's Studio Library. If you want to follow development or test the tool when it becomes public / open-source, subscribe — more devlogs coming soon.
