I have autism - and I am a mum!

I am a mum and I was diagnosed with autism 3 years ago! It has been a long journey and it is very scary to talk about this to the world but I want other autistic mums out there to know that there are some of us who are autistic and have a family and we can still survive and survive very well. Being a mum has changed my autism so much because now I have internal meltdowns where I go very quiet and I do this to protect my daughter. I can still function however you would not know I have autism until you know me VERY well. I do struggle to do things that people can do on a daily basis.
