In this episode, I test a compact Zigbee WiFi panel from the Tuya Smart Home ecosystem, which allows you to control smart devices directly from the touchscreen. It's an interesting alternative or complement to your phone's app, especially if you already have several Tuya-enabled devices. The panel pleasantly surprises with its speed and responsiveness. Responses are almost instantaneous, which is crucial in a smart home. However, it's important to be clear that it's not a home command center or an Android tablet. The range of functions is simple, but precisely what this device was designed for: convenient control of smart devices in one place. The price on the day of purchase was around 398 PLN. Even with discount codes, you can realistically shave a few symbolic zlotys off. In my opinion, if this panel were around 100 PLN cheaper, it would be a much more attractive proposition for a larger audience. Nevertheless, if someone already uses Tuya and is looking for an additional, physical control point, I think they'll be happy with their purchase.
