FIRST DRIVE in Jay's Wicked White Evo 9 MR Grand Touring Edition

It's not every day that a client comes in the door, asking for something you haven't built before, but that's exactly what happened this time. Our client Jay is a great guy and lives the busy CEO life over at Metabolic Nutrition, but when he's not running a high-performance company he enjoys the same passion we all know and love... CARS. This one was special though. We've been hunting for not just any Evo but a super clean, wicked white Evo 9 MR, that we had a specific purpose for. To create a grand touring edition for any environment Jay could throw at it. He wanted a car that could deliver good power, when needed, tame enough for daily use, but spec'd properly for a track day if the occasion calls for it. After searching patiently we procured one in good shape with only 27,000 miles! In this episode, we'll take you through one of our favorite parts of the build process.. the delivery. We get to take a ride for the first time with a client and see that smile on their face, and the rush of emotions when they lay eyes on the car, in some cases, for the first time. We spared no detail on this car, giving it a proper restoration from paint, suspension, interior, turbo, intercooler, manifold, exhaust, brakes, and last but not least, some gloss black Te37 wheels with the tires to match. Needless to say, this car came out amazing, and we couldn't be more proud of it, and the trust Jay had in us to bring it home from the beginning.
