Yasmin Rodrigues, 24, was murdered by her ex-husband after a social media post indicated she was single. The crime occurred in Rocha Miranda, in the northern part of Rio de Janeiro. The incident reportedly began after the young woman answered an anonymous question on social media confirming she was single. This interaction allegedly triggered the violent attack by her ex-partner. The victim's mother tried to protect her and was also injured. Yasmin was taken to the local Emergency Care Unit (UPA), but did not survive her injuries. An arrest warrant has not yet been issued for the perpetrator.
