She has released four albums of which her album – Soul Call – topped world music charts, garnering great acclaim and earning a Grammy nomination. Her latest album, Shivoham--The Quest, involved over 200 musicians and was recorded across three continents. All of her albums were released by her not-for-profit label, Soul Chants Music. Chandrika has revived ancient Sanskrit chants, paired traditional folk instruments from around the world with classical and contemporary instrumentation, and convened cultural conversation through the mixing of modern and old-world languages. She favors global music, the kind that conveys blessings and grace. Her “limpid, serene voice” – as the New York Times describes it – has filled major venues worldwide, including Lincoln Center, the Smithsonian, Olympiastadion (Berlin), Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, and the World Culture Festival (New Delhi). She also performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where she staged her most recent album’s world premiere, Shivoham - The Quest. Chandrika is currently working on her latest album and has a number of exciting music releases scheduled for 2022.
