DCS Mission Editor Tutorial - Random Bandits w Difficulty Settings, Great CAP Training
This video will show how to create an Air-to-Air Training mission in DCS from scratch in the editor. It's aimed at beginners who've at least seen my introduction to the DCS mission editor as a minimum. Viewers will be guided through every step in making a fully functional air-to-air mission in just under an hour, which can be given to friends, Sqn members, or used by yourself to train on dog fighting with any aircraft. Having already been introduced to the very basics of mission editing (see previous videos under my DCS editor playlist), it's now time to build our first really cool and useful mission that will not only make use of multiple things we've covered, like flags, triggers, zones etc, but we will also introduce a few new elements, including: Using Radio menu to create an Easy, Medium or Hard Mission Using Random numbers, much like a dice, in cahoots with flags, to bring targets in random order Using our grey matter & minds eye to think ahead, solving a potential 'bug' before it ruins out great mission You will mix all the above together to create something you can really be proud to show someone, and if I've done right my end, with a bit of luck it all made sense too! Runtime is appx 50 minutes, so allow yourself a good couple hours if you wish to follow along. Once again, I risk frustrating a few by explaining things more than once, to ensure that everyone has the chance to follow along and get into mission editing, so if something is blindly obvious to you by now, and i'm saying it again, do allow patience for those especially who may not be English as first language, who maybe get it when I say things a little differently the second time. If you like Digital Combat Simulator and related flight-sim stuff, consider subscribing. I make videos about other aspects of DCS, and from time to time, other flightsims. I was pretty good at flying until I had to give it up, and like to think I can share a few bits with others who are interested.
