"El Muerto" by Santa Pachita

Arizona Arts Live presents Santa Pachita’s entertaining performance with The Tucson Studio in Centennial Hall. In this single-song sample of the concert, the group performs “El Muerto." Santa Pachita has been playing together since 2012. After working together on other musical projects, guitarist Miguel Reyes and bass player Victor Cruz created the band, bringing in other talented musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds. The result is a danceable fusion of ska, cumbia, and rumba-salsa, with congas, flute, and trumpet adding depth to the music’s energy.
