Last week, we uncovered the hidden war for your heart. This week, we meet the heart that wins that war. Jesus said in Matthew 13:8: “But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Three soils failed. The wayside. The stony ground. The thorny ground. But then Jesus speaks about a fourth soil. Good ground. I have come to understand that good ground is not a lucky heart; but a cultivated heart. It is not a heart that has never been walked on, never been tested, never been wounded, and never been crowded. It is a heart that has learned to stay soft, stay rooted, stay clear, and stay surrendered to the purposes of God. Some of you have been sowing for years and wondering when the harvest will come. Some of you are tired of surface-level faith and know that God is calling you into greater depth. Some of you already know that your heart needs more attention than your calendar. This Sunday, we are going to unlock the code behind the hundredfold life. And I believe, that you will come to understand, that a fruitful heart does not happen by accident. It happens by cultivation and by intention. A fruitful heartIt happens when the Word of God finds a heart that is ready to receive it, retain it, and reproduce it.
