Join us this week for a lovely weekend in Croyde! After countless recommendations, we finally made it to this beautiful part of Devon, and it truly lived up to the hype. Our Friday began with an unexpected and unsettling incident. Waking at 5:30 AM, we discovered a suspicious person outside our van. Our suspicions were confirmed when he made off with what appeared to be around ten large generator cables, likely worth thousands of pounds. Half-asleep and unsure how to react in the moment, we did manage to capture the incident on film. One of our main missions was to visit Biffens Kitchen, a place Lauren has been dreaming about for ages – and it was definitely worth the trip! After breakfast, we went to Saunton Beach, which is dog friendly, before heading to Depot Eatery for some nachos. Later, we drove down a pretty scary backroad to the Heddon Valley car park, where we spent a peaceful night. What a stunning place to wake up! We were greeted by the singing of a local peacock before going on a hike to Heddon's Mouth. We can't recommend this walk enough – it's absolutely breathtaking.
