Garmin Radar Problems….

🚴‍♂️ Ride Interrupted: When Tech Gets in Your Head Today’s ride didn’t quite go to plan. My Garmin Varia rear radar decided it wasn’t going to cooperate, and instead of focusing on the road, I spent far too much time trying to work out what was wrong. It’s amazing how a small piece of technology can distract you and completely change the feel of a ride. Despite the frustration, I still got the work done. Almost the entire 49:59 ride was kept below 126 bpm, making this a solid low-intensity endurance session. With a strain score of just 8.9, it was exactly the kind of ride that supports recovery while still delivering meaningful benefits. These are the rides that quietly move the needle—steady calorie burn, improved blood flow, aerobic conditioning, and metabolic health improvements without putting unnecessary stress on the body. No hero efforts, no chasing numbers, just consistent movement. For anyone focused on weight loss, blood sugar control, or building long-term fitness, this is the type of session that can be repeated 5–6 days a week alongside a sensible calorie deficit. Not every ride has to be epic. Sometimes the biggest win is simply getting out the door, dealing with the unexpected, and still turning the pedals. #Cycling #GarminVaria #Zone2Training #EnduranceRide #FatBurnRide #CyclingLife #Garmin1050 #RoadCycling #FitnessJourney #Type2Diabetes #Innertubele
