Sony 70-200mm F4 Macro G OSS II Review for Landscape Photography (61MP Test)

In this video, I take a close look at the Sony 70-200mm F4 Macro G OSS II from a landscape photography perspective. All images were captured with the 61 megapixel Sony A7R V to really see how well this lens holds up on a high resolution sensor. We’ll go through real world landscape images as well as controlled test chart shots to evaluate center and corner sharpness across the focal range. I also test the lens at 70mm, 100mm, 135mm, and 200mm, and take a look at performance with both the 1.4x and 2x teleconverters. Finally, I demonstrate the macro capabilities, including 1:2 reproduction natively and 1:1 with the 2x teleconverter. This is not a general purpose review covering every feature. Instead, it is focused specifically on image quality for landscape photography, including sharpness, corner performance, diffraction, teleconverter performance, and macro usability.
