Strongarm in Magnacut VS SRK Compact in 3V

Gerber’s Strongarm in Magnacut VS Cold Steel’s SRK Compact in 3V. The Steel Nerds website rate Magnacut as a 7/10 for toughness, 5/12 for edge retention and 9.5/10 for corrosion resistance. I explain how 3V is a tougher steel with 9/10 rating and should also be a 5/12 for edge retention since they rate D2 as a 5/12 and they show tests where 3V out performs D2 for edge retention. They gave 3V an edge retention number of 674.4 while D2 got slightly lower at 665.8. So 3V should be a 5/12 as well making it a similar rating as Magnacut on edge retention. However corrosion resistance on 3V is a 5.5/10. But the Gerber Strongarm in Magnacut cannot spark a ferro rod and the SRK compact in 3V can spark a ferro rod.
