LG refrigerator ice maker not producing ice. testing icemaker. test button location

in this video will go over how to test the ice maker on this particular ice maker. there is a test button underneath it. you had to hold it for a few seconds until you hear a beep and then ice maker will cycle. the sensing arm will come down also. it will spin around and dump the existing cubes if there is any and after that it will fill up the water. in this case there was no water coming in so either have a bad water valve or there is no water coming to the refrigerator. ice maker seems to work fine. if yours is not turning around, most likely it's broken. also check if refrigerator is cold enough. it will not produce ice only if it's cooling enough to freeze. water has to be a lot colder than that.
