A small video on Betsy final resting place. Was it ballycreen Ballynahinch or were the bodies taken to this little garvaghy parish church? We know Betsy, her fiance and brother died near horners rd ballycreen. Killed by the annahilt crown guards. Betsy was on her pony trying to find safe crossing at the river when the crown forces found her. Her brother and fiance could have escaped but ran to her aid. Betsy put up her right arm to save her bf and had it chopped off trying to save him. Anyone has anymore information on the 1798 rebellion please leave a comment or pm me ty.
