SEASON 2, EPISODE 3 Steven Clarke takes Ryan Villopoto's VMXdN Foxhill's 2002 YZ 250 two-stroke for a rip-around Apex! So this week, we have part two of the strip down on the Budlight 2002 Yamaha YZ250s we built for Ryan Villopoto and Mike Brown to ride at the 2022 VMXdN Foxhill. Both Brownie and RV had them buzzing all weekend, gunning down the hills and through the valley on their way to taking the team victory . We take you behind the scenes at DocWob HQ and give you an in-depth look at exactly what we did to the bikes and more importantly why. Restoration of old two strokes and re manufacturing the impossible to find parts to build them is our speciality, but getting a 21 year old bike to look brand new,how it was back in the day is no mean feat but making it work well - and more importantly work for the worlds greatest racers-now that is the hard part. So we give you an exclusive look at this machine once the plastics are off. The American Team only get to test these bikes once before the race weekend - so they have to be very close straight out of the box. Since we are runnings a couple of Yams again this year with RV and Zach Osbourne (were building Kawasaki's for Tommy Searle and Mike Brown), we decided to get Steven Clarke to spin a few laps on her at Apex so he can give you guys his opinion. It's been a fair few years since he rode a two-stroke, and it's back to a kick start to get her going. There's nothing sweeter than the sound of a two-stroke!
