THE LAWS OF SCOURGE: A história do álbum GRANDIOSO do SARCÓFAGO

In this video I make a detailed approach to the album THE LAWS OF SCOURGE (1991) by the Black/Death Metal band from Minas Gerais, SARCÓFAGO, as well as a brief account of the band's history and discography. Sarcófago broke the borders of Minas Gerais practicing a death/black metal worshiped in different parts of the world. The lineup that recorded the album consisted of Wagner Lamounier (vocals/guitars), Fabio Jhasko (guitars), Gerald Minelli (bass) and Lucio Oliver (drums). We have a wonderful record here. Betting on an overwhelming weight and with compositions much more worked than those presented in their two previous albums, Sarcófago presents a dense album, extremely well executed, and lyrically much more mature. The disc features the songs: "The Laws of Scourge", "Piercings", "Midnight Queen", "Screeches from the Silence", "Prelude to a Suicide", "The Black Vomit" and "Secrets of a Widow". In its current CD and LP version, it features the songs "Little Julie" and "Crush, Kill, Destroy" as bonuses. The lyrics here, although avowedly anti-religious, leave Satanism a little aside to approach, in a raw and rough way, more "down to earth" themes, with scathing social criticism. Nowadays, Sarcófago has a privileged place in the extreme metal scene worldwide and much of this is due to the work done on this record. Not only do I consider it the best album by the Minas Gerais group, but also one of my favorite albums in national metal. #sarcofago #lawsofscourge #deathmetal #blackmetal #ideraldomaia #shippadosideraldomaia CANAL SHIPPADOS COM IDERALDO MAIA! =======================================================
