Hello everyone! We're at the penultimate destination on this trip, Georgetown (Penang). A HUGE city, full of places to visit: temples, mansions, forests, beaches, restaurants, and the best street food in Asia. So, without further ado, let's get started! TODAY'S ROUTE: We woke up in Georgetown, Penang. We rented a motorbike from Happy Ken, a unique character you should definitely meet. We visited Cheong Fatt Tze - The Blue Mansion, a mansion steeped in history. Next up was Penang City Hall, the city's municipal building. Right next door, we had a beer while strolling through Fort Cornwallis. The Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower, just a few meters away, is our next destination. We visited another iconic building in the city, the Penang Peranakan Mansion. -Lunch at Tek Sen Restaurant, a MUST-SEE for dining in Georgetown. We visited Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi, a perfectly preserved area. We continued on to Kuan Yin Temple (1880), one of the oldest temples in the country. We strolled through Little India, full of incredible colors and smells. We continued on to the Sri Mahamariamman Temple, an impressive Indian temple. We tried to see the Kapitan Keling Mosque, but they wouldn't let us in. We continued on to the Chao Yuan Gong Temple, next to the harbor. We walked around the harbor, visiting Chew Jetty. We strolled along Armenian Street in the rain. Back to Le Dream Boutique Hotel for GrabFood and to rest until the next day. That's all for now, we hope you enjoy it!
