When I used this method, the eucalyptus branches would keep, but the leaves would become dry and a little crispy. Now I want to try a slightly different technique. Here are the steps: 1. The first step is to cut the eucalyptus branches, or in my case, buy them. 2. Prepare a solution of water with a little salt and leave the eucalyptus in the salt water for 24 hours. 3. Prepare a solution of vegetable glycerin and water. We'll use a 1:2 ratio of vegetable glycerin to water. Heat the water and add the vegetable glycerin. Once the water has cooled, place the eucalyptus branches in it so they can absorb the solution. Leave the branches for two to four weeks. Remove the branches from the water and let them dry in a cool place. The branches will become flexible and will keep for a long time. It's important not to get them wet again.
