Don't bother with the bundled software and the proprietary Dongle that is required with the stock software. Upgrade to free software and follow the simple steps for easy printing with no guesswork. Why not use the bundled software? The bundled software works only on Windows machines; K40 Whisperer and InkScape can run on Linux, Mac and Windows; K40 Whisperer and InkScape can be run on a Raspberry Pi 3 or 4, which means that it can be setup as a Stand-alone Wifi-enabled Laser Cutter station. Just Remote Desktop into the Raspberry Pi, get the cutting started, then disconnect your laptop or workstation and let the job finish.
