"I Believe" || Stranger Things Tribute

TV Show: Stranger Things Song: "Stranger Things 5 Finale | Epic Ending Music" by Mathias Fritsche Program: VEGAS Movie Studio 14 Thumbnail: Pixlr Coloring: Mine I know, I know, Stranger Things ended three months ago, but better late than never am I right? I wanted to start making this tribute to say farewell to the show all the way back when I watched the last episode on New Years Day, but I was already two months deep into a multifandom edit (it's to the song "What It Sounds Like" by Huntr/X and it turned out incredible, so it was worth it!) But then not long after I finished that project, my cat died, so I had to push this project back even further in order to make a video for her. THEN when I was almost done, my computer crashed while I was in the middle of editing, and when I turned it back on my project was gone! Of course, I started crying and freaking out, trying anything I found online to get it back and none of it seemed to be working. It may sound dramatic that I was praying for God to restore my edit, but when you've spent hours a day working on something you're really passionate about, seeing it suddenly disappear is devastating. Thankfully, after I restarted my computer a second time, it was all there again! Praise Jesus! I think if he didn't want me to make this edit it would have been lost forever, so I'm very grateful to him for the inspiration, creativity, and ability to make it and all the other ones I've done on this channel. "Stranger Things" has been one of my favorite shows since I was fifteen years old. Each season came out during a different time in my life, so they all make me nostalgic (especially season 3, y'all can't tell me that wasn't the best season cause summer 2019 was PEAK). I think most of us agree that the final season wasn't what we had been hoping for; I haven't necessarily liked everything the show portrayed throughout its ten-year run. But as a whole, I've always enjoyed the story and characters, so I'm going to miss it. I think the last season still had its epic moments, the epilogue scene being one of my favorite TV show endings I've seen so far, so I wanted to structure this edit around that and my favorite moments from the other seasons. Stranger Things is an amalgamation of terrifying sci-fi horror, hilarious chaotic absurdity, and bittersweet coming of age themes. I haven't seen anything else like it, and I doubt we will again in our lifetimes. It was truly lightning in a bottle, a cultural phenomenon around the world. The people who made it were inspired by movies from the 80s, so I look forward to the day when the next generation of filmmakers are inspired by Stranger Things. I know I've been.
