Tour du Mont Fort. 80 km around Mont Fort. Welcome to Paradise.

WELCOME TO PARADISE! I could not find a video about Tour de Mont Fort, so I decided to make my own making 8 hours of riding into less than 15 minutes. 1. We take a chair lift from Verbier 1500m. to Les Ruinetts 2200m. 2. From Ruinetts we go LEFT, and take a lovely wide road until Croix de Coeur 2174m. 3. From Croix de Coeur 2174m. we have to go down to la Tzoumaz 1500m. You have to cross parking and go on a single track. After that, it's up to you to decide, whether you can go on a blue downhill track or just straight. 4. From La Tzoumaz 1500m. you will have to go a bit on asphalt road and get to the river and then go uphill for a bit on a wide and nice road until you get to Nendaz 1400m. 5. Take a chairlift from Nendaz 1400m. to Tracouet 2200 m. 6. Once you are at Tracouet 2200m. go straight until the lake and then turn right. After a couple of kilometers, you have to take right again. Keep going until Siviez 1730 m. 7. From Siviez 1730 m. you take the chair lift on the right. It will take you to Tortin 2050 m. If you have time you might want to go down a couple of times from Tortin 2050 m. to Siviez 1730 m. There is a beautiful trail over there! 8. From Tortin 2050 m take another chairlift to Col de Gentianes 2950 m. and go all the way down to La Chaux 2260 m., then to Les Ruinettes 2200m. and then to Verbier. Plan your activity carefully, since the chairlifts close down at 16:30. In the last part you have to take 2 chairlifts, if you are not fast enough, you have a chance to be late for the last chairlift, and have a lovely route cycling all the way back, making not 80, but around 140 km back. This happened to me three times. You might want to start as early as you can.
