Reconnecting Rivers
Charles River Watershed Association: Since 1965, Charles River Watershed Association has worked to protect, restore, and enhance the Charles River and its watershed using science, advocacy, and the law by developing science-based strategies to increase resilience, protect public health, and promote environmental equity as we face a changing climate, together. Tunaround Films: Led by Yari Wolinsky, the company documents the complex changes in our world caused by climate change. Exploring why these changes are happening and highlighting the people working towards innovative ways to mitigate or adapt to change, Turnaround Films’ goal is to provide quality, accurate videos to educators, students, legislators, and activists who need to communicate with the public about climate change. These groups partnered to develop Reconnecting Rivers, a short film exploring dam removal efforts in the Charles River watershed and beyond to restore ecosystems, wildlife habitat, and Indigenous sovereignty.
