The McLaren 788HS

The McLaren 788HS has been revealed as a high-performance version of the 750S. Production is limited to 200 examples, split between 100 coupes and 100 Spider models, with every car customized by McLaren Special Operations. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 producing 777 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. McLaren says the car reaches 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, 124 mph in 7.0 seconds, and has a top speed of 205 mph. The 788HS features a new S-duct hood, front splitter, Formula 1-inspired diffuser, raised active rear wing, and center-lock wheels. McLaren says these aerodynamic upgrades generate 10 percent more downforce than the 765LT, while revised suspension tuning and carbon-ceramic brakes derived from the Senna complete the package.
