Turning a Wooden Pendant

I've been turning up a few wooden pendants recently as a way of using some of the small offcuts that gather in the workshop when making the yarn bowls and other stuff. I’m hoping to gather some stock together to run a stall at an upcoming market to sit alongside the yarn bowls. This pendant is turned from a small piece of highly figured Blackwood (Acacia melanoxylon), this was a really pretty bit of timber that had a lot of spalting in it. I'd soaked it in some linseed oil to keep it a bit firm while turning, it was quite punky in parts. I took some inspiration on how to turn these from Peter Brown’s recent video on turning a pendant out of Fordite (   • Making A Pendant From Paint!   ) Etsy: http://Fatsosworkshop.etsy.com Instagram:   / fatsosworkshop   FB:   / fatsosworkshop   Music: Want Your Disease by Elenika Good-Bye Bad Romance by Elenika Devil Girl (EP) licensed under CC 3.0 https://archive.org/details/DWK131
