Sabine Rewald is the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Curator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY. Recent exhibitions at the Metropolitan include Balthus: Cats and Girls (2013), Room with Views: The Open Window in 19th Century Art (2011), Glitter and Doom: German Portraits of the 1920s (2006), and Max Ernst Retrospective (2005). Ms. Rewald has lectured widely and is the recipient of numerous distinctions including the Andrew Mellon Fellowship, Department of Twentieth-Century Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
